New Places...

I shot this image from the 31st Street Harbor on Chicago's South Side. The water in the background looks relatively calm, but waves were pounding the breakwater and spraying skyward up to 8 feet. A corrugated metal front caused the waves to shoot up in columns. I spent nearly an hour watching this phenomenon.
Discovering new places along the lake are a regular part of my shooting regimen. With over 1,600 miles of coastline along Lake Michigan, I have many more unique perspectives to capture!
