Identity: Art Inspired by the Great Lakes

  • Queen's Park Toronto CANADA (map)

Identity/Identité: Art Inspired by the Great Lakes opened June 16 in Toronto, Canada. I am delighted to be the only US-based artist and the sole artist representing Lake Michigan in this beautiful exhibit presented by the Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, The Honourable Elizabeth Dowdeswell, OC, OOnt. (http://www.lgontario.ca/en/pages/default.aspx)

The exhibit features a variety of media and is focused on the role the Great Lakes play as muses to the arts. You may view the entire exhibit online here http://arts.lgontario.ca/greatlakes/

The two pieces I have in this exhibit are "Shimmering Layers" and "Icy Lake."
