"Surface Tension" Fair and Panel

  • Peggy Notebaert Nature Museum 2430 North Cannon Drive Chicago, IL, 60614 United States (map)

Join me for an evening of conversation with Lake Michigan experts about the challenges our lake faces and how you can take action to protect it.

The evening will start with a fair featuring researchers and stewards from Illinois-Indiana Sea Grant and the Center for Great Lakes Literacy. Talk to them about the work they are doing every day to maintain the health of Lake Michigan and get your questions answered.

Next, we’ll hear from a distinguished panel of experts from the Alliance for the Great Lakes, The Field Museum, and Shedd Aquarium.

Finally, we’ll reflect on what we’ve learned and identify steps we can all can take to help preserve our Great Lakes.

Refreshments will be provided at no cost and the museum will be open for exploration throughout the evening, including our Surface Tension exhibit.
